Our WPC products are mainly HDPPE based, mixed with wood dust in almost equal proportion, with the density of the solid content quite similar to heavy hardwoods such as balau and greenhart at about 1,200 kg/m3. However, co-extruded WPC produced by foaming with lighter density of 750 kg/m3 and come with fire retardancy(class B) is also available.
Apart from conducting our own tests, our products have been tested to numerous EN, BS and ASTM standards for strength, weathering resistance/colour fastness, moisture absorption, slip resistance, etc. The tests results shown below are compiled from tests done by independent established international laboratories for our WPC products over the years. With continuous improvements being done on the material formulation and product redesign, some of these data would have improved over time.
Also, all our WPC products are uniquely accredited to both FSC(Forest Stewardship Council) and GRS(Global Recycling Standards) besides also being certified to meet CE safety standards, as well as REACH standards on non-toxicity.
